About me
I am Madlyn, Licensed Interior Designer, Creative Director and Owner of La Luna Design.
I have been in the Design industry for over 20 years with an extensive background in different fields of design. I began my journey as an assistant to a local residential Decorator from which I learned my very first lessons in establishing long lasting client relationships and work ethics. A few years later after completing my education and receiving my degree in Interior Design I relocated to Puerto Rico and was incredibly honored to get the opportunity to work with one of the top Interior Designers in the island. For four years, I learned the ins and outs of the hospitality design industry and worked in the development and renovations of some of the island’s hottest hotels. In addition, I worked as part of his team in design projects for his personal high end residential clients. Returning to Florida, I ventured into a new career growth opportunity with an Architectural and Interior Design firm in Orlando. I was a Senior Interior Designer and Design Manager for almost a decade specializing in clubhouse design and model merchandising for Multi-Family, Senior Living, Student Housing, and Hospitality projects.
After many years in the industry, I decided it was time for me to take a leap of faith and bring to life La Luna Design.
I love envisioning, designing, and creating beautiful things. I love seeing “THE” look in my client’s eyes when they see their home or business completed. I enjoy working for weeks or months in a big project, installing it and unveiling the final product of what I designed. It’s a creative adrenaline rush that I crave and wish to share with others.
I want to be able to show my clients that they can have a beautiful space at any budget…because I am one of them. My home is my retreat and my business my inspiration. A simple idea, a fresh coat of paint, a new beautiful piece of furniture or artwork can make a world of difference.
